South African Airways Museum Society Boeing 747 "Lebombo" on display at Rand Airport, Germiston.


SAA Museum display hall is at the Transvaal Aviation Club at Rand Airport. Entrance in Russel Road.


Open for viewing Monday to Friday 10h00-15h00.


Open First and Last weekend of every month and Long weekends 10h00-15h00


Entrance: R20 per adult R10 Scholar

Please note: Should there be a special tour/function of the Museum or the 747 in progress you may have to wait a short while.

Hi All,

The pics on the SAA museum website are also very impressive. They show a front view of the 74 landing and really illustrates how important it was to land on centerline. Unfortunately due to Hurricane Charley I don't have a hi speed internet connection so maybe somebody else on this forum could download and post it.
