I have flown it in Gabon. Never had a trim problem. however, bleed air warning master used to come on too often right after take off passing 400ft . Trouble was False or real? Well, allways false alarm untill one time: bleed air line disconnecteed right after a check valve and hot air was blowing on Hydraulic tank. Make sure 18 psi EVA tube are in good shape...

It's a good machine, well designed, easy to operate.
(and surprisingly enough, an "almost" bush aircraft)
And if you don't forget to fly her, you'll stay out of trouble as long as you perform maintenance correctly.

Flew a B1900-UC in Somalia for a year and it worked very hard and well. Never had a flight control problem or balance problem. Good aircon system, anti-skid and it performed well.:D
