Ethiopian (Language Question)

What language do Ethiopian use operationally on the flight deck in the 737MAX fleet? Would it be English or Amharic? Would/might that change if the crew were both locals?
Just curious to know whether the CVR from the accident flight would need translating or if it is likely to be English throughout.

Language(s) for manuals?

Any view on the standard of spoken English and comprehension of written English among local crews?

Come on! Someone must know? It isn't a trick question, just curiosity.

They use English to operate and their English is pretty good.

But, under pressure, presumably might have reverted to Amharic within the cockpit...

And what would be the relevance of that? The only important fact is for them to be communicating efficiently. Do we have any indication it was it the case?
