Trip From South Africa to Italy

Hi all,

We want to do a trip from SA to Italy in a King Air 200. I would appreciate any advice on doing this regarding routes, countries to avoid or any advice in particular. We would like our legs to be max 1 000 nm. The route we worked out is as follow:

Pilanesberg Int'l (SA) - Kasane Int'l (BOT) - Maya-Maya Int'l, Brazzaville (CON) - N'Djamena Int'l (CHA) - Tamanrasset Int'l (ALG) - Hammamet Int'l, Enfidha (TUN) - Fontanarossa Int'l, Catania (ITA).

Sleepovers in Brazzaville and Tamanrasset. We worked on 230 kts average cruise speed. What do you think of this route?

Thanks in advance!

Make your first day to Sao Tome.

Then Tunisia.

Brazza is crap for an overnight. If you overnight in Algeria, you need a visa…..not for a tech stop though.

Have a good flight.

Ledger Plaza Hotel and Mikhael's Hotel are the 2 best hotels in Brazza. Good biere et frites at each
There's a Radisson Blu that was under construction in June, it may or may not have already opened.
