Operating EASA aircraft in Uganda?
What are the obstacles to operating an EASA aircraft for aerial work in Uganda? I know that this is very difficult - if not impossible - in Kenya unless the aircraft is transferred to the local register. Is Uganda similar?

Been a few years since I was in that part of the world, Barnacle Bill will give you recent gen.
However, 6 months seemed to be as far as you could stretch it in TZ. As they are all one happy family now (mini EU), the rules should be the same, and we all know how that will work out!
I would recommend using a local company, they are good, but unless the above AOC thing has been sorted out, you may have problems.
The Kenyan CAA is the most obstructive
The Ugandan CAA is the most indifferent
The Tanzanian CAA is the most helpful.
Good luck!
