Adding new caravan to aoc in uganda drc or south sudan
Hi,
My boss has just bought a brand new grand caravan for his business in east africa. The aircraft will be used primarily for his own business purposes however, he would also like to look into chartering the aircraft when not in use. Base options are Eastern DRC, Uganda or South Sudan.
Can anyone suggest a good operator in any of these locations that would be willing to add the aircraft to their Aoc and have a reasonable chance of chartering it? An aside question is what reg to consider
Any help and or advice would be much appreciated

Busy Bee Goma DRC........
The owner is also an experienced captain on the Caravan ex Air Serv Intl and has two LET 410 A (PT-6) one 9Q(DRC) and one 5Y(Kenya) registered.
5Y would be my suggestion for the best registration in this part of the world as most of your maintenance will be done at Wilson(Kenya).

try asante aviation
I agree with Digitalsoul. Try Asante they are an excellent outfit and they so far operate Caravans only with options of getting more aircraft in. They are very well connected throughout the area and are flexible to work with.

dont be fooled
i dont agree with those who say asante , but you ask around Juba where all operators are foreign companies i.e kenya , uganda and you will hear the true story of asante , no agreement is ever honored by them

Hi Guys, am a member of the Asante team and came across this thread. We currently do operate 4 C208B in the region and have been here for awhile. We are open to any one who would wish to do business with us and kindly let me correct Skyman that we actually honour all our contracts as can be verified by any of our clients. Please feel free to contact us if you would need any information.
