Thumbs up

"The engine overhaul/upgrades were NOT performed as requested and required by US law prior to the aircrafts departure.
Numerous components which were due overhaul/inspection were NOT carried out either adding to the illegal activities undertaken by so called regulated US maintenance facilities."
Also happens when you DO pay the bill......

Seen on the ramp at Kinshasa on 29 May. Will be in DC for the US-Africa Leaders summit, eager to see if this plane makes the trip to IAD.

9Q-CLK HEAVY MAINTENANCE IN MIAMI

Dear " Mobutu" and " 4 runner",

I was very surprised to read the false informations you gave on 9Q-CLK and wish to tell you only two little things:
1.- The engines position 2 and 3 were overhauled by BONUS TECH in Miami and all ADs applied( I can send you the FAA release documents if you want).
- The engines position 1 and 4 were overhauled by OMEGA AVIATION SERVICES in Ireland ( you can also have the release documents if you want)

2. The aircraft left the MRO COMMERCIAL JET with the official release document and a FAA FLIGHT PERMIT ( I think that you both know that a MRO and the FAA DAR cannot deliver these release documents if all works are not done properly.

Note: the Aircraft left the MRO CJI without any debt.

Thank you.

707---Mobutu post

To the suggestion made by a newcomer to this Forum that Mobutu has posted false or misleading information about this aircraft--all I can say is that I have had numerous exchanges with Mobutu away from the forum and he has always provided information that was accurate---to give just a single example --when the story of the LET410 accident that involved a Britsh Pilot in the DRC was caused by a crocodile getting loose was circulating in the Uk Press prior to the Coroners hearing he provided detailed information to the UK Coroner that enabled the family of the dead pilot to learn the truth--
