Northern Flight Simulations UK - Africa Line Training

These guys are apparently running a line training scheme in Africa. Looks like a scam, any info?

Just a couple of points in passing. I'm not familiar with all hours required for a licence but does anyone issue an ME/IR with only 100 hours PIC? That's the minimum requirement listed at the bottom under Type Rating.
I'm also not really familiar with English as a mother tongue, especially not with what passes for English these days in England, let alone Britain, but I have more than a suspicion that the website blurb was written by someone not entirely fluent in the language.
Why don't you google map the address? It seems to be sandwiched between a pickle and a fishery.

"..an ME/IR with only 100 hours PIC?" -- Yup, and with ICAO's marvellous 'MPL' you can have it with much less than 100 hours PIC!

(There's a butcher that sells excellent pork pies a little way down the road from there. Genuinely! And I'm not implying any 'rhyming slang'.)

If it walks like a duck^Wscam and quacks like a duck^Wscam it probably is a scam.

Maybe someone local could take a look at what is actually there on the ground.

Its a scam, the man behind it is the notorious Robert Weaver and friends. He is a scam artist that got hoofed out the ferry flying circles and is now looking for fresh meat. See pprune thread "A Ferry bad experience" and google his name. Stay away chaps he will steal your money.

Exclamation Zaffar Khan (NFS) & Atlantic Aerospace (AAS)

Original Post From GEP:
It is strange that all the other posts from GEP to do with this subject have vanished...

It gets no better as time goes on....
Well six months have gone past, Captain R still has not recovered the £2000 he lost after Zaffar Khan introduced him to Robert Weaver.

Two more disgruntled people have appeared, seemingly having lost money through ventures linked to Zaffar Khan.

Atlantic Aerospace (AAS)
Guys please do not get sucked into this company AAS, I did and it cost me £5000 deposit for line training with an airline who had no idea that this company AAS had enrolled me to do line training with them.
I am now in the process of trying to get the deposit back from them.
AAS seem to operate out of the US (Tony Meyers) and Latvia (John Reynolds) and Have a UK partner (Zaffar Khan) of Northern Flight Simulation.
This company AAS is not a reputable company so PLEASE BE WARNED DO NOT GET SUCKED IN THEY WILL PROMISE YOU LINE TRAINING AND DELIVER NOTHING.
they took 2000 pounds away from me....
Oh my god, I lost 2000 pounds. i gave money to Zaffer Khan from Northern Flight Simulation. When I ask the money back, Atlantic Aerospace get involved. Its clear that these guys are working together. I dnt know how much money these people are making in such ways. I started my legal steps before few months and also reported this to other authorities. If anyone is affected by this scam please contact me on [email protected] and lets move together legally.
It seems like they are making big money and its a big scam. Its already they took 7000 pounds (5000 pounds from the guy above me and 2000 pounds from me). How can they jus take others money without any justice.
WHO EVER GAVE THE MONEY AND INVOLVED THIS GUYS PLEASE COME FORWARD AND SUPPORT US AND WHOEVER CONSIDERING TO GIVE THE MONEY PLEASE PLEASE DNT AS YOU GUYS WILL 100% LOOSE YOUR MONEY.THIS IS MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND ALSO THE GUY ABOVE

Since around this business, many agencies are taking advantage
and often behind them some people operate illegaly; do you have any advice of some serious opportunities to apply for Line training on A320?

"...do you have any advice of some serious opportunities to apply for Line training on A320?"

Get a job on an A320. They'll sort out your line training, reliably.

Stop trying to think of 'quick fix' short-cuts. Get a regional job on a turbo-prop and learn from the bottom up. Or become a flying instructor. Build up some real experience first and stop trying to be one of these impatient 'whipper-snappers' who wants everything NOW! You're only 25 for goodness sakes, you've got 40 years of career ahead of you. Take your time and do it properly. I've known many people who haven't even started their careers at your age and have progressed well by doing things properly. Things are slow now. Just accept it. Everyone is in the same boat. Be patient and do things properly and your turn will come.

Try short cuts and you're likely to get thoroughly ripped off!

First of all i would like to show all my kind
pleasure beacause you are trying to give me a
your advice that demonstrates the reflects of
your personal experience;
I could accept it but I can't do the same
when you want judge what a person tries to
do using all his efforts and all his resources
to try to put in practice his desire to fly while
there are very few solutions.
For a young pilot time has changed, he can’t
more lives the great opportunities and benefits
of that past when you moved your first steps through
the apprentice in some small airlines flying E.g in GA ,
and on turboprop airplanes ;now time has changed
for the stage of this first experience, and only
if you reach at least sufficient experience in
whichever type of aircraft you become eligible to be hired.
My belief could changes and I would be agreed
with you if only the aviation could starts to
give the opportunity to mature and grew ,following
your same way, but knowing that all it’s about money
and being aware that we are influenced by the market
laws; we will not see changes in the next months.

This is only a surge and intends to express
reluctance against whom ignores the reasons
that cause a pilot to make use of these p2f programs;
when behind of them he can't se any other possibility.
