ALASHOCK'S BLOG: Arik Air Aircraft Rams Into Airforce Plane

- 737 in Jos hits plane, wing collision
- 737 in Abuja of runway

Anyone some better info, is this both correct (tails etc.)? Is film or picture available on the issues?

Funny to hear two unauthorised sources who should know better bickering about an aviation incident pre-empting the role of the AIB.

The AIB should have at least made a cursory statement that it is aware of this incident and is investigating it as appropriate. Some should prod Muktar on the need to be proactive.

I've got a nice picture of Arik's winglet still in the C-130's wing, and spoke with the crew on the C-130 right after it happened. They blamed the Capt. of Arik for blatantly ignoring ground workers that pointed and instructed him to use the other taxi way. Actually saw the C-130 flying again yesterday.
