Question What's the current african job scene?

Just wanted to get the low down on applying for work in Africa. Currently working in outback australia on cessna 210's with a little over 1400 total, and 80 multi.

Is it the same as over here in that you have to be there to get the jobs, and generally some touring around is required to eventually gain employment? People said a South African license conversion is handy, but if I was looking for work in say Tanzania or Botswana, wouldn't I need a license conversion there anyway?

And finally - does anyone over there know where I should look for work at the moment? Is the work over there seasonal?

any info would be handy.
