Is that one of the old -100s with the RDA6 engines? If so I'm surprised it hasn't gone in sooner operating in that hot and high environment.

There were indeed two with RDA-6 engines operating in Kenya a few years back. One (5Y-BRN) operated briefly for East African Safari Express on its short-lived Nairobi-Rumbek service around 2005/6. One of the two (not sure which) is still sitting at Wilson minus props. The 540 ones are powered by RDA-7's.

Either way, it was meant to stop on the runway before the end, or else got airborne, and return for landing, albeit with a failed engine.

This must have looked like a circus during it's happening.

Foxcotte.... what have you got to say my friend
