A few posts ago I did mention that the Arik Chapter should be affiliated with NAAPE the national body as againts going for international an international body.

I would suggest we look back to the national body. My reason being is that some of us have voted with our feet, however this has not improved the conditions. What we want is for all the airlines to do what is right. Arik, orange tail An........skybird.

Lets get this industry into shape regardless of the airline.
NAAPE can alway get affiliated with an international body. There is a vibrant National president at the moment, an I'm sure would like to take this on as a project if we decide to

The level of bonafide interest in this is low. Virtually nobody considers Arik a career stop, and the very, very few that do are management suckups that would never be involved in a union.

And even the management suckups largely are in it for that next big ticket to punch (maybe a command, a bigger Airbus / Boeing to fly, etc).

Prognosis for union; Dead On Arrival.
