I had the same conversation yesterday over lunch with one of the skippers!
Having say that things may change sooner especially if they start flying new profitable routes. Bare in mind new fleets will still arrive as per committed orders.

Ab initio 2014.
Hi guys, I'm a newbie too and would like to hear from the experienced guys on this platform. How long does it take for one to be called after the dec31 deadline expires?I applied and I have found this forum priceless in terms of resourcefulness.

Guyz do you read before posting? The AB initio programme has been closed for now. The Airline is in the doldrums!
Stay positive though, hopefully things will improve sooner rather than later.

Weight Issues
Hi guys,
Am I the only person who is glad this was moved to July. I am struggling with my weight, and I am not really sure about medical fitness. I will hopefully be cut back down to normal size. Anyway lets keep our fingers crossed and we will get there, July is only six months from now.

Most important is the wording they used.......
"Potentially the next processing of the pilot applications will commence in July 2015."
Definition of the word "potentially" ......'possible, as opposed to actual'
May or maynot happen. Am just saying. All the best to those who applied.

is it certain that the shortlisting for 2015 will be done in july?
You're not going to cope well with the technical manuals.

AB Initio
The application assessment at the end of the application contained details about one's age, height and grades where you answer true or false. However, i think for the grades in Mathematics, English and Physics one can include them under education additional qualifications in your account.

Applicatrion Assessment
zennah thanks.. i have seen what your are talking about.... though i im not sure as to whether retaking the assessment would tamper with my application status. would it be as detrimental as to withdrawing your application ?
