@ wannabecapt, kudos to you and your group on your achievement.
I guess you must now be heading for type rating ?
@munyeki, as far as I think,if your hand is completly healed, you have no problem.FAA is very keen on body fitness.To get class one medical,several conditions have to be meet including body fitness.

hey people thanks a lot for this thread it really helps glad to know that i am not the only one who did not receive the confirmation mail.
however there is something that i am really worried about and need your help
you see the thing is that i was new to this thing and when i applied i did not know where to put the grades. however after i applied i found out where to put the grades and ADDED them in the additional qualifications before the deadline the thing is that i am worried will that affect my application please help me!!!! thank you

- @captainpilot Thanks alot to let us know that you are also on the waiting list.I may not be well versed with the KQ's ways of doing things but i think there is no problem in adding your grades later after the application. You see, the application is what was most important and again they clearly say that you can go to the MY ACCOUNT link to add any other details you may need to, meaning they probably check out once in while ,you know. Keep in touch if anything crops up especially on the app.

2010 Ab Initio recruitment
@GooseA380. KQ normally advertises the recruitment of AB initio pilot trainees twice a year; towards mid year, around May/June and towards year end, around November/December. So most probably the next advertisement for recruitment will be posted around November, be vigilant around this time.
For the guys who applied for AB initio 2010 in June/July, has anyone received any communication from KQ so far? If no one, patience guys, may be they are working something out or have other insider practices

Hey guys.also got that email.The waiting game ended on monday.well ,aptitude test is more of IQ test.hoping to meet you all on 20th.For those who didnt have the cert,did you manage to get one.For myself, I got it.all the best

munyeki i guess we will b meeting there.. about the head office its not at pride centre but very close to that place..i have been told speed n accuracy is wot matters in aptitude.

Hi guys.Also got the email directing me to KQ offices at the Old Airport road.But as of yet i haven't known where the offices really are.Can someone just help me before its too late.E.g the name of the building,street- - - -SOMEONE PLEASE
