Thumbs up

Well done Chalkie. I was wondering what was going on with your attempt. Good to see that you have made it. Now it is time for all the big mouths out there to try try and break it...will probably take another 70 years. :

Thumbs up Well Done Chalkie

Well done Chalkie

I can't understand why so many people are negative about a feat of endurance over hostile terrain by a 61 year old man.

I don't know if it's meant as cheap a jibe, but the size of an aircraft has nothing to do with FTLs or FDPs, they only apply to Public Transport and as this was a private category flight they are totally irrelevant. Why not come out and congratulate the man for doing something different and challenging in completing this flight in a single engine aircraft over hostile terrain with little or no SAR cover over much of the route in a record time?
