Maseru Airport can it handle a 757?

I am wondering if Maseru airport can handle a 757-200.

It was designed to take a B707 for Lesotho Airways many moons ago...if that helps.

hi, if you have access to jepps system have a look on there for the r/w lengths and so on, also the blue book published by jeppsen will also give runway lengths and other facilities at the airport and which a/c it can and cannot accom

Can't see why it wouldn't be able to have a 757, was there about 2 weeks ago in B722.The only problem with the place is that none of the navaids worked.Here some contacts for you...

Thanks for the info. A friend and I were wondering if it was possible, it came from looking at facilities in Lesotho where they built a huge runway but it had no purpose.

It's sad times we live in when you see the grand African ideas and how little has come of them, and how unreliable the facilities are.
