Well me thinks the Alteon center issue FAA/JAA types depending which license you have, not location.

you will not get the FAA type out of Alteon as they dont have a deal for the FAA course with Virgin Nigeria and not sure they have an FAA check pilot on staff(cld be wrong). You will only get the JAA endorsement if you get one of the JAA check pilots to do your base check in Nigeria.

VN Slots

My offer was changed from 737 to EMB. No dates yet but June/July sounds realistic. Out of interest, the chaps on 737 course now, when did you guys do your interviews.....things seem behind schedule....

Guys,

Be patient. Alot is going on to get you guys started. Those of you going on the B737, the problem is getting sim slots. Those on the emb should be contacted soon, the embraer guys were in lagos last week.
Look at it this way, you're half way home.
