child hood dream

So the question is since you are rated, i wonder which is the childhood dream, to get hired or to fly an MD 80 in Africa....???..East Arican Express is aquiring some MDs to replace their aged DC-9s...

let410 jobs anywhere in africa

well hi there all u people.....
i would really appreciate if i get some valuable info on my queries from ur vast experience..
well i just recently got my commercial pilots license.. will having a let410 rating help me in getting a job anywhere in africa...
i have just 235 hours if total time..
127 hours PIC and 32 hours on multi PA-34-200..
are there any companies looking forlet 410 rated low time pilots in congo or anywhere else...

With low hours getting any job will be difficult. Not sure by buying a type rating is the way to go. You might want to build up hours like most the guys do in the swamps there in Botswana. Look around for survey flying, another good way of building up hours. Good luck!

heloo all u people..
would anybody tell me are any operators anywhere in africa hiring a fresh CPL holder with a let410 rating ... ur adive would be highly helpful and appreciated...

I'm interested in doing flight instructor course from south africa. Is there's any flight school in south africa who can employ me after my flight instructor training? Information will be appreciated.

Try South African Flight Training Academy SAFTA, they had a Professional Pilot's Course i.e ab-initio to instructors with guaranteed employment upon completion. NOT SURE THE OFFER STILL STANDS

Greeno, can find out some contact details for you or put you in contact with a mate thats flying the van for susi air..From what he has said they have been hiring alot of pilots lately, but with my low hours and there really average pay for low hour pilots im going to hold off for a bit longer.

So anybody got suggestions where i should go and start door knocking for a job?
