wooah.....
I must protest, for it appears that one west African country is being maligned on this forum. Why?
Over here we have our childrens safety in doubt because pedophiles target them.
Rape of women on the buses, underground and surface rail transport is rampant.
we are scared of terrorist attacks from our own fellow citizens of a particular persuasion.
No respect amonst our children for adults, smoking begins at as young as 13 years of age and illiteracy is rife except its a computer game.
shoplifting in most city centres is the norm.
alcoholic babarism every friday and saturday night the norm.
credit card fraud and debt management our gift to Africa.
soccer hooliganism, racist attacks on young men and women of particular races our contribution to culture tolorance.
We all have problems so let every contributor chill out and concentrate on aviation and how we can improve it within Africa.
I prefer working in AFRICA I must admit as I get more respect there and live a better life style.our kids are safer when they visit me in Africa on holidays.
Africa makes my life worth living and I have more respect for my skills there than at home.

LJT,

Where have I say I am born of no particular nationality? Everyone (almost) is born with a nationality. Like yourself, I have dual nationality. Where did I say I am in Nigeria? I visit Nigeria sometimes because I buy coffee to export to Europe from Nigeria. When I go there I have evry right to be there because the governement has given me a visa. No, I am not a Nigerian - is it only NIgerian who has right to criticise that country? If so, no Nigerian in UK or America would be allowed to criticise. It doesn't matter if you speak French as most educated people such as pilote undertsnad the slogan of the French revolution, which has been famous for centuries.

It is just a shame that so many people here express so many bad views and is one reason I never feel safe to fly in Nigeria except with Aero.

This thread will soon be banned if people continue to express so many bad views, and most of us understand perfectly well the pidgin English. If you don't you can find out some here:

Babawilly's Dictionary of Pidgin English

I can see that both threads will soon be banned and nothing constructive is being said any more - mostly just Nigerians and Sud Africans insulting each other, so is time to say, adieu mes amis. I hope you may find some common ground one day

alghaita ganga,
If you took offence to what i have said, i do apologize, it's nothing personal.
I take it that some people on here are just agitators of mischief and complete disregard for the feelings of others, thus, there's always a back-lash.
The likes of jamex, metro man etc... THE USUAL SUSPECTS!!!!!!!
We all know who they are.
I still maintain that this forum is for aviation and not personal feelings about political situations in any one country.
Like i said before, such views have sites for that type of rhetoric, not here!!!!!
Once again, please accept my sincere apology, the objective here is not to get personal.
Cheers.

Oh dear, I have said adieu and now I am here again to speak with mes amis Zazoo and LJT. Please just ask Balewa to be more calm small. Maybe what he says is with his tongue in his cheeks because he wants to wind up some people with hairy backs . Humour and truth are alwasy better than innuendo and rumour - but this is a rumour network.

Zazoo,

Bonsoir, vous parlez très bien le français!

If you still fly for Bellview I have to congratulate that the service have improved and I even flew to London in Novembre. When will you start to fly again between Douala and Port Harcourt? That service is very good for my business (even though I still like Aero best because I think they have best combination of aircrafts and training, I still think their check-in staffs are rude and aggressive). I do have to admire Bellview to continue to provide a service and to expanding their coastal services to countries of West Africa, despite they don't seem to have the overseas backing of company like CHC or the backing of dubious origin of Arik.

LJT,

No, I don't take offense, you have said nothing offensive You have just speak your feelings from the heart and I agree with much of what you say. There is too much of verbal offensive here this days between the Africans of Nigeria and the Africans of South Africa and I find that sad .

AG,

My using pidgin wasn't directed at people like you, but the dudes south of the equator. I find that anything comment made here attracts negative feedback, thus my using pidgin to communicate with the nigerians on this thread. Essentially, my message to them is to "chill out".
