tanzania jobs

Hi there.
I have just come back from flying B190 in TZ. Great place to fly and get hours.
Your work Visa is easy to get there. Takes about 2 months but you can get permission to work in the mean time. If you dont get it in time then just work and keep quit about it and noone will ever know.

Chances are ifyou looking for work you will be in Arusha or Dar. If its up to you, go arusha. Lots of planes and flying there.

You will need to do a TTR and a East African Licence. Dont sweat it tough, its not hard.

Talk to some of the guys flying up there and most of them will be willing to help out with studdy material.

Some companies you need to watch out for. The three companies that are great in my apinion are Regional, Coastal, Air ecxell and presition. Zan air is also great.

You will enjoy TZ great place and Great people.

Keep it up guys.

Bo? must be not the same one.
fred2006 Contact them before to go there and ask for a return ticket and accomodation paid before to go in Tanzania in this way you wont loose time and money. Now days all the company do that.Contact them before to go there .Watch out

happy 2008

hey lowbypass, dont sweat it buddy, remember wht happens to sour grapes at the shop, everyone tastes it and they leave it on the self to rot...eventually its price reduces and some guy takes them home and has a few and throws it away in the dustbin..im glad we never met riccardo but feel sorry for those people that have had the displeasure of meeting u..for the record i never said or did anything to stop u from getting the sudan job

fred2006, tanzania is a great place to work and fly, i have flown my whole life here and find it the best place to fly, just remember this is africa so wht they taught u at school might not always apply here in the real world, flying here is challenging, crazy, sometimes even scary, but if i were given a chance to restart my career i wouldnt change a thing.....

keep it up there fellows,

406

406 say:
""feel sorry for those people that have had the displeasure of meeting u..""

For sure they are sorry now and that is the price for who wanna play hard with me.

Before 406 say:
""funny but the bluebird chief pilot sent me a pm asking about u riccardo...ive been brought up with the culture tht if i cant say something good about someone id rather keep quite, but im sure other will speak...
all the best""

After 406 say:
""for the record i never said or did anything to stop u from getting the sudan job""im glad we never met riccardo ""

No sense 406 ,no sense .Is english your language? or that is the way you are?Good stay in Tanzania than

That is the way you can get hurt in your carrer.

lowbypass say:

"'Wonderful arrangement eeh?, these conditions to come fly a C-206/8?""

Tanzania June 2007 Coastal put an ad on another forum for pilot on the 208 and at the they say:

""Engagement premium for overseas pilots:
Contribution to cost of exploratory visit
One air ticket per year if single, two if family.
Free accommodation: one apartment every two single pilots or one apartment per family""

By the way you are right infact I d not waste my money for just 206 or 208 and I suggest anyone will not do that .Look for the ad s all over the world they pay you even a bonus to work for.Is the end of era you got It? or not?

Im keen on coming up to Tanz in the new year - around Feb/March - Anyone got any contacts for me? (406..?)

How do I get someone to pay for/contribute towards my ticket?
Sounds like a great way to get up there and have a bit of a holiday heheh. (which I need after a year in donkey-ville)

Engagement premium for overseas pilots

I did not know there were these conditions, what I wanted to 'caution' fred2006 was that the conditions had better be given/offered by the employer rather than the 800 hour job seeker thereby avoiding possible shelving of the application.
TZ and the world is changing, before they used to say come this will be your pay (some actually paid to fly),, we will give you accomodation and transport to and from work thats was it.
Now even those who used to give NASA like entry requirements have their tails between their legs.
Go for it fred2006.

im kool as ice guys, but this dude always blames everyone in tanzania cause he cant get a job, how can i let that happen, tanzania is a great place to work for..yes english is not my language but i can still get a job and keep it..which is more then wht u can do volante...

i never saw that ad..but the way the pilot shortage is hitting i would not be surprised if they would be willing to pay for ur ticket, i can assure u in the past it was not like this, in fact in the past would turn off most operators whn u mention that, so thats why lowbypass cautioned everyone...

keep it up there fellows,

no more 406pilot

To a 406pilot

I totally agree with a 406pilot about this issue but try to cool your temper Buddy, afterall you are a fully ATP Captain now, this sort of an argument is not good for your FOs.
Remember to be wise!!!

tz pilots

I have one last thing to say and as far as im concerned, all the pilots in tz are of the upmost calibre people i know. the ones that made it anyway.
I had a great time wile i was there and this would have not been so without you guys. Great pilots and great people. Anyone whom puts aviation down in tz is just not a real pilot in my eyes. All companies have there ups and downs in the world and in tz it is less than most contries i have visited.
those whom complain are momies boys and should not be there in the first place.

TZpilots, keep up the good times and i hope to see you all soon
later buds
