Hi all,

Just firing this thread up again as heard MK are doing some interviewing soon.

Would appreciate any insight into current company culture, I am well aware of the reputation up to date, however have heard it may be on the improve.

Any lowdown on the interview process would also be greatly appreciated.

PM if you like, thanks for your help.

Today I just got an invitation from them directly. Do you have any ideas about payment details for FO?
Screenings will start at end of August.

Hi. Do you people have any information on the last advertisement that Air Mauritius had done for F/O on A319/330/340/MAY14?
Did anyone get called for interviews or screening exercises?
Accurate information will be appreciated. LRF

"An equal opportunity employer"

On the pilot's job opportunities page on their website is stated in the bottom of the page the phrase "an equal opportunity employer". Any idea what they mean with this? Maybe regarding thst both expats and mauritians have the same opportunities?
Is that correct that the A330 FO salary is 4100 euros?

It means that if you'll change your sex, and state it in your CV, you have better chance to get a job

A friend of mine who used to work there says the politicians who vowed to leave it alone just sacked the CEO. The new CEO is already after the pilots for being slackers. They are 50 pilots short of a full roster.
That's all I know, you can read between the lines.

Stay away from them. They won airline of the year for sacking people every now and then. CEO was sacked recently, when they no longer need you, they hand over your termination letter - "MK reflects the actual political state of the country..." Discrimination against locals but will hire only those who has strong connection inside.. "mk has already tarnished the mauritian pilot image when ever you will see a mauritian pilot at mk you will have in mind that he was hired on a 'backing' basis."

From my class of 8 only 1 remained with mk after 18 months should say enough about the working conditions. And yes the story about locals getting hired because they have connections sounds very familair.
