Understand it was an R22 with an instructor and student on board. My sympathies to the families of the victims.

All Speculation

Aircraft from Grand Central, R22, two people on board, instructor and student. Witness claims aircraft fell out of the sky... engine failure, carb icing, blades?

My thoughts go out to the families and loved ones..

R22

Sadly sounds like the tail came off and the chopper went in vertically.
