Angel Lagos-Africa's....

Hi All,
Have a situation in Lagos and need rapid confirmed info please. I understand that there has been an electrical fire (transformer blow out) in Lagos TWR. We hve diverted to Lome/LFW/DXXX as info is that the RWY lights are out. Sketchy info coming in from our man on the grnd. believe SAA hve held their flt over and that LH and AF have also been diverted away from LOS.Virgin still on grnd as LOS unable to handl Internatioanl Pax due INT Term also out of action due no power. All valid/confirmd info appreciated.

Rgds

You can contact our DHL crew in Lome that fly into Lagos every day for updates. The fire is confirmed and our ATR night stopped in Cotonou. From what we gtahre the tower was the main problem without any electricity but all should be cleared by this morning. Lome crew GSM +228 2260496 OR +228 9028194

Lagos is still a .......
Currently there is still a fuel strike going on and there is minimum Jet A1 on the airport. Latest scam is to hike the price up . now paying USD 1.68 per USGAL.
TIA

If it wasn't for the 100 odd tons of fr8 would not even use it as a diversion.
