Duxford's own Hurricane I G-HRLI, alias V7497 "SD-X".
Undercarriage collapse, or groundloop?
Top prop blade looks to be in good nick, wonder if it was a known gear issue and the pilot killed the mags as it landed. Last Hurricane that had a leg fold at Duxford trimmed the prop blades when it went upon its nose.
Said to be due to a groundloop. Shame , but pilot OK and aircraft repairable.
