A 54-year-old man has died and a woman has been seriously injured in a paragliding crash.
Emergency services were called at about 16:45 on Saturday to the incident, near Loch Na Gainmhich in the Highlands.
The conservationist and adventurer Sacha Dench, and her support Dan Burton, were in the final stages of a challenge to circumnavigate Britain.
The charity Conservation Without Borders said Mr Burton was killed and its founder Ms Dent, seriously injured.
The pair were flying the battery-powered paramotors to mark the forthcoming UN climate change conference in Glasgow.

Nasty. Any mid air collision is bad news, but in a paramotor, essentially there is no protection at all !
Most of the Round Britain effort done successfully, just the section down the West Coast back to Glasgow left. Sorry to hear of this.
