Final TSB Report on a Caravan floatplane CFIT in 2019

I remember hearing about this accident when it happened but wasn't aware of the details. There are many issues associated with this accident which I think will have a long-lasting impact on rules and regulations for charter flying in Canada.
One thing that really surprised me is the fact that the Garmin G1000 showed dramatically different pictures of the terrain, depending on whether the forward-looking terrain avoidance (FLTA) feature was inhibited or not (pages 28 and 29):
