My club. I was there, saw the accident and helped out in the aftermath. A dreadful day. I hope I never see anything like that again.

On Saturday, a TSB team arrived to investigate the crash scene and the towplane which was still on the runway where it had force-landed. Both areas were guarded overnight by the RCMP.

I'm still coming to terms with the accident, but one observation I will make is that I was very impressed with the professional but sympathetic handling of the situation by all of the emergency services personnel - the Turner Valley RCMP detachment, the Black Diamond ambulance and fire crews, and the Edmonton-based TSB investigators. Thanks to all.

I'll also say thanks to my fellow club members, particularly the club executives, who all rallied around and did what was required in these very difficult circumstances.

Very glad to see you posting I42, I noticed the accident reported on ASN and wondered if it was your club. My sympathies to everyone concerned.
