Question Cropsprayer Crash Grantham Lincolnshire UK?

Evening All

Does anyone have any details of a cropsprayer that crashed near Grantham Lincolnshire UK in the 1980's or 1990's, if so could you please supply me the registration & make of aircraft if possible. Not sure if it was a Pawnee or Cessna 188 Ag Truck. It would be much appreciated.

Regards

I am wondering whether this could be G-AZYC Cessna 188.
This was owned by a Lincolnshire company and shows on G-INFO database as destroyed on 5/12/1983.
There is no record of this accident on either the AAIB or Aviation Safety Network databases, probably as it happened so long ago.
There are quite a number of Pawnee accidents and one or two Cessna 188s on the AAIB database, but none occurred close to Grantham.

In the time that I have lived in Grantham (30+ years), I think there have been a couple of crashes, both in the area around Old Somerby. I can't remember precise details but one was very near to the B1176 and was visible from the road. You may wish to try the Grantham Journal's archive.
