C172 down in Fiji
Bad weather in the northern parts of Vanua Levu, Fiji may have caused the disappearance of the training flight with an instructor and female student in rugged country. It is some 30 hours since it departed Labasa for Savusavu and still no sign of it to date.
The C172 was a training aircraft with the Pacific Flying School which is a part of Sunflower Aviation, Nadi, Fiji.
The search continues on the ground and airborne when WX permits, and hoping for some good news.

Bad news,
Both crew found deceased still strapped in on the side of a mountain!
Very obviously a VFR into IFR as the weather for the whole of Fiji was abysmal.
The CFI and or the owner should be responsible for releasing the training flight into extremely bad weather!
RIP
