2 killed in microlite crash, Enstone airfield
Happened on the evening of Friday, 3 July, 2015. Mentioned briefly in local newspapers, eg. Banbury Guardian. AAIB investigating.
There seems very little in the public domain - two men killed: a pilot in his 60s and a passenger in his fifties. It was on the first day of a three day microlight rally at Enstone, so presumably they could be from just about anywhere.
Tragic, of-course, whoever it was, and whatever the reason.

Just read the report. Pilot landed very long on a planned touch and go and during the go, hit obstacles off the end of the runway. Sometimes, it is just best to go-around and try again, especially if it is going to be an obviously long landing close to the end of the runway.....
