There are no guarantees that it will work. You can try running the compatibility trouble-shooter (right click on the programme in the start menu, select "show file in location" then right click on the file and select "compatibility trouble shooter"), or tinkering with the compatibility settings manually (right click on the programme in the start menu, select "show file in location" then right click on the file and select "properties" and then the "compatibility" tab) and it might work or it might not. Sometimes the incompatibilities are due to things that it can't fix like the way W10 does scaling in display drivers.

Be aware that if you have installed the 64-bit version of W10 then NO 16-bit software will work - that the 16-bit compatibility subsystem from W7/8 was just too unstable and caused too much grief so it's been abandoned.

If none of this works and it's just this one application then your best option is probsably to go and buy a 2nd-hand W7 laptop or tablet (it will be cheap!) for this one job.
