Thanks for that david - I spent a couple hours and watched all the segments - good stuff (and probably as close as I'll get to having a beer with Niki ).

I recall when the current engine formula was introduced, everyone was tracking fuel used. There was even a display where, instead of their time gap, it would show fuel used - and the commentators speculating that driver x was over budget and would have to back down, or driver y was under and could push harder (not to mention Mr. Smiley getting DQ'ed from a podium at his home GP due to exceeding the max fuel flow rate).
Now I don't hear anything about it
