Yes I have been there and if you like that sort of thing the gardens are well worth a visit. However my trip was by car not flying in. The runway is grass and, according to Skydemon, 450 metres long. A long time ago since I last flew an Arrow but from memory I think you would have to get the manuals out. I suspect not wise with that aircraft but as I said a long time ago. Thurrock, about 2 miles to the south, has a tarmac runway of 700 metres (again according to Skydemon). Hope this helps.
