I'm not a doctor, but head injuries and seizures and aviation don't really mix well. It isn't just the ADF that has a tough stance - so to do civil aviation regulatory bodies and militaries world-wide. Have a look at the DAME Clinical Practice Guidelines for head injuries and seizures on the CASA website. The ADF may have it's own additional and/or different policies, but this is the sort of thing you will come up against.
Thanks for your input Ryano, it is greatly appreciated. I'll have a read over the CASA head injury/ seizure policies and make an informed decision from there. I guess all I can do is try to appeal and hope for the best.
