A close friend said always have options. If I crashed and hurt myself, I had none. I couldn't go home and I couldn't afford the operation here. So therfore I should not have flown. It was a risk I took. I'm sorry to have taken that risk and now put my family and friends through this sad episode. Too proud to ask for help because this is all my fault, I was in a dyer situation, in a cast with a broken back looking at doctors who also did not know what to do. There were no options. I'm not one for panicking, but I was full on panicking and is not nice I can tell you.
You guys, through your actions and funding, have literally saved me, you have saved a human being. Quite a good one or so I think, if a little stupid and over ambitious, so I will start thanking you now and will thank you all for ever more for my welfare. I feel as if I have been thrown a life line, your life line. You pulled me away from the panic, you gave me another option. Thank you is all I can say. Colin Hales.
