Sounds like a nice wish list, but so far no opinions from those most closely involved ie the train operating companies. Their job is to get people to and from London as fast as possible. Can't see them being enthusiastic about another halt when they have a stop already ,just down the road. After all the TOC"s see airlines as their competitors
