Qlink flights did ok, but yes they were predicated (or so I am told) on BHP using a certain number of seats, and business travellers using the service. I think this time they are looking more towards the domestic leisure market. It will be interested to see how air fares shape up. It does say in local press that whoever the airline is will have an exclusivity contract initially, not that airlines appear to be falling over themselves to operate into the Gong. I do hope it is successful otherwise I think it will be a hard sell getting anybody else to take up the challenge
