About your marksheet verification, if you were in Mumbai for your High School then your best option is the e-marksheet. It will require you to fill out a form and pay a nominal fee and ask for the reason of request. I think (not entirely sure) it will then mail you or whichever address mentioned on form the actual verification. That's how it works for CBSE boards. There is no harm in trying it out, I say go for it.
Thanks skratche, took your advice and was happy to find that for Maharashtra board, there is an everification option and it's free of cost. Was able to get my 12th verification certificate immediately last night
. BUT, the 10th certificate is not available since the board has only digitised sheets from 1990 onwards while I did my 10th in 1989
. Anyway, have sent an email to the DGCA asking for advice on this issue, let's see how that goes. Would be awesome if they can accept the eVerification certificate.
