With CX out, what foreign carrier do you recommend?

I posted about withdrawing from CX. Someone else posted about EK going south.

Which non-US carrier do you recommend and why?

FYI, I'm hellbent on leaving the states and working overseas.

Air Japan?

Marry someone in AUS or NZ and try AirNZ or Qantas?
