May I suggest that you just ask them, bearing in mind that every conversation has at least two witnesses available to you ? Hopefully, Mr Optimistic, you are not on any flight deck. If you are, then your concern should be to ensure that none of your passengers are injured, but if they are, you should be fully co-operating so that it can be understood what happened and how it can be prevented in the future. "Pathetic example" as you put it? What, with concussion, broken nose, two broken teeth and damaged sinuses all happening on your aircraft and your worry is someone snooping on you?
