Ted Holloway Aden Flight in Canberra 1955
In his obituary on 8 Feb, the Telegraph reported that Wg Cdr Ted Holloway made a non-stop flight from RAF Wyton to Aden on 24th October 1955 covering 3,327 nm in 7.45 hrs, an unofficial record at the time.
I have a 1000 odd hours in many Mks of Canberra with many different fuel fits but I don't know of any that could cover that range.
Does anybody know how they did it?
