To be honest there is no magic formula or substitute for hard work. Put in as many hours as you can, then a couple more on top when people are out in the pub, or other social occasions.
What worked for me was reading over the books after every day, doing the questions in the book. I didn't do much question bank until at the end of 3-4 'mini topics'. Rinse and repeat. Passed mid/end of 2016. Good luck.
