I don't want to distract from recognition of Dick's wonderful generosity, but as one that has given the last 16 years to vocational training of young Australians, I suggest you should motivate public outrage against CASA's license fees charged to newly graduated apprentices, rather than seeking Dick's generosity to further encourage CASA to impose and increase their already outrageous license fees?
If other industry bodies are willing to subsidise their fees and charges to apprentices (e.g. the electrical industry), I don't see why CASA should not also charge reasonable fees for new LAME license exams.
