Today's local Advocate newspaper story;
The managing director Roman Badov of Free Spirit airlines says flights in and out of Burnie Airport will not resume until December 1st, because the airline is upgrading their fleet. The airline has not flown from Burnie since 24th of October. The business has been restructured and will now have a back up aircraft. We have had some technical issues with our aircraft and as a result we have actually upgraded our fleet to serve our customers better.
Our customers will be travelling in greater comfort and at a greater speed and of course most importantly with the highest of safety standards.
