I agree with the above. I had lunch with a lot of the guys and girls on my day and we just had no idea who was going or who was staying. I felt so bad for those getting sent home. A lot of them were fantastic people with bags of experience and enthusiasm and amazing backgrounds (aviation wise!).
Definitely a bit of luck involved in terms of what group you got put with I think as there is inevitably some strong personalities.
I felt the technical aspect of my interview weren't that technical, more hypothetical and what ifs. The HR type questions didn't really give you the opportunity to showcase your knowledge on aviation either.
We'll just see what happens!
