On 16 April 1956 the Ferry Support Squadron was formed at Benson replacing the Ferry Transport Flight. The Support Squadron's name was changed to the
Ferry Squadron on 1 January 1958. The squadron absorbed 147 and 167 Squadron's on 15 September 1958
[2] and was disbanded at Benson on 1 December 1958.

I do not remember ever seeing any IAF Hunters at Orange.
