Mr A Tis, I totally agree with you.
The ongoing arguments about infrastructure, funding, being the chosen alternative to Heathrow etc are both tedious and pointless.
Manchester should focus on its own problems which, as you rightly point out, are here and now! To think that we are going to have to put up with the status quo for the next 10 years or so is ridiculous.
Unfortunately, MAG should have done something about the terminals a long, long time ago.
I flew through Dublin last week, which handles about 10% more passengers than Manchester, the security area was very busy but very efficient. It is easy to get between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and it was airy and light with plenty of space and seating.
As I sat there I just wondered why is it taking Manchester 10 years to produce some improvements when Dublin did it in a fraction of the time. I also wondered, why isn't Manchester better than this now!
