Visible at 2nm? Wow, how big was it or how hawk-eyed are the crew. I wonder if they were in Class E airspace and the drone pilot was on a VFR 'see & avoid' routing?
Think from what I read, and from what the ATCO posted, both drone and aircraft were 2miles from the airport.
