Thank you to everyone involved in what must have been a lot of hard unpaid work to put on such an enjoyable day for everybody. It was like airshows used to be before all the commercialism and BS kicked in.
And I know it wasn't strictly an airshow per se,but it was wonderful to be so close to our wonderful heritage jets,breathe in the warm Avtur and have your innards well and truly rattled!
I never cease to be amazed at how tiny the Gnat is,and in comparison how big the Buccs and Lightnings are. I thought the BBMF Spitfire was particularly spirited and seemed a lot faster than the many previous BBMF singleton displays I have seen.
Well done ladies and gentlemen I shall look forward to the next one.
P.S. What happened to the Nimrod's rudder?!?
