"A number of routes will lose 1-2 flights a week during the summer due to the delivery delays of the A350/A320neo, this is to accommodate planned expansion such as the ATL route launch which are too close to postpone. This will be put in the schedule over the next few days. Other planned route launches which are occurring later in the year might be rescheduled to latter dates.
QR only have 2 787 left on order, they will delivered in May and June of this year. The final 77W will come in later this year. The remaining expansion all counts on the A350/A320NEO (either to launch the new flights or to free up other aircraft) and the delivery of these aircraft won't be steady for a while.
I recommend FT'ers check their bookings and lookout for any notifications from QR or your TA if you are flying over the summer."
